Kabaddi: The Most Exciting Sport in the Modern Era
Kabaddi is one of the most exciting combative sports in the modern era. This is a team sport played between two teams of seven players. The match is played for 40 minutes and is divided into two halves.
Both teams need to score points in the game. The defensive players are called “Antis” and the attacker is called a “raider.” A raider goes to an opponent’s territory and tries to win points for his team. The points are earned after touching an opposition player and making it safely to your half. If a raider gets caught by the opposition defenders, the defensive team gets a point. A raider has to chant Kabaddi!! Kabaddi!!! While he charges to the opposition half.

This is one of the most famous sports in South Asia. It is said that the first framework of the rules of the sport was prepared in 1921 in Maharashtra. Later on in 1950, the All India Kabaddi Federation was formed.
1980 was the year when the first Asian Kabaddi Championship was held. The first Kabaddi World Cup was organized in 2004. Now, Kabaddi has gained a lot of popularity. The Pro Kabaddi League has been the main contributor to its success. This has also led to the emergence of the Yuva Kabaddi series.

IPL has led to the emergence of various franchise-based leagues in India. The PKL was one such league established in 2014. Star Sports have remained as the broadcasters of the league since season one. The inaugural season was a great success because of the league’s viewership.
There are 12 teams in the current season. PKL has reached its 11th season. Some of the top global stars team up with Indian stars and youth. An auction is held for the purchase of a player. This league has grown stronger and stronger over the years.
Kabaddi: The Battle Tag League

K1NGM4K3RS Inc.’s journey includes launching a high school pilot program in collaboration with High School Athletic Associations from New York, Texas, Florida, and Los Angeles. They are also planning a College Raid Series for college students.
With a good partnership from investors across the United States, UK, and Asia, K1NGM4K3RS Inc. is aiming to expand the sport. This could also lead to the emergence of a global league competition. As of now, the work is in progress and Kabaddi could be a very famous sport in America.
