Chelsea Are Starting to Look Dangerous
Chelsea come into this game after two impressive Premier League wins.
First came a 5-1 win over Bournemouth.
Then they went to Everton and won 2-0, with Pedro Neto scoring twice.
That is seven goals scored and only one conceded across those two matches.
Cole Palmer, João Pedro and Neto give Chelsea plenty of attacking quality. Moisés Caicedo, back from a calf injury, gives them control in midfield.
There is one significant problem.
Goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez will miss the Tottenham game. He was concussed and broke his jaw in a collision at Everton, and needed surgery. Young goalkeeper Mike Penders replaced him and kept the clean sheet. He is expected to start on Saturday.
But overall, Chelsea arrive with confidence.
And Tottenham have not enjoyed playing them recently.
Chelsea have won the last six Premier League meetings between these clubs, including a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in May.

Have Tottenham Finally Woken Up?
Spurs badly needed something positive.
They got it on Monday night.
Tottenham beat Coventry City 3-1, their first Premier League win of the season.
But the result was only part of the story.
James Maddison scored on his first start in almost 18 months.
Omar Marmoush scored his first Tottenham goal.
And Dejan Kulusevski came off the bench after around 17 months out.
Suddenly, Roberto De Zerbi has a little more attacking quality to work with.
That matters.
Spurs had scored just three Premier League goals before the Coventry game. They have struggled to create chances consistently and spent much of the opening weeks of the season at or near the bottom of the table.
Maddison’s return could change that.
Kulusevski’s return could change it even more.
There is a catch, though. Marmoush, Andy Robertson and Tosin Adarabioyo all went off injured against Coventry. De Zerbi insisted none of the problems were serious, but their fitness is worth watching before Saturday.
The question is whether Stamford Bridge has come too soon.
The Key Battle
Chelsea should have more of the ball.
Tottenham’s best chance may come when the game gets stretched.
If Spurs try to trade attacks with Chelsea for 90 minutes, that could be dangerous. Palmer and João Pedro are especially good at finding space when defenders lose their shape.
But Tottenham now have something they have been missing.
Creativity.
Maddison can find passes between the lines. Kulusevski can carry the ball and cause problems from wide areas.
That makes this Tottenham side harder to predict than the one we saw earlier in the season.

What Are Other Predictions Saying?
The public prediction models lean towards Chelsea.
The FPL Dave model gives Chelsea a 51% chance of winning and predicts a 1-0 Chelsea victory.
Forebet’s algorithm expects a bigger margin. It gives Chelsea a 49% win probability and predicts 3-0. It also rates over 2.5 goals at 69%, though it narrowly leans against both teams scoring.
So the broad consensus is clear.
Chelsea are favourites.
The disagreement is over how comfortable it will be.
TalkingBets Prediction
Tottenham should be better than they were a few weeks ago.
Maddison’s return matters. Kulusevski gives De Zerbi another weapon. And a first league win should take some pressure off.
But Chelsea look further along.
They are scoring freely, playing at home and have dominated this fixture in recent seasons.
We think Spurs will make it uncomfortable.
We just don’t think they will make it uncomfortable enough.
TalkingBets prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham
Other angles to watch: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.
One warning, though.
Chelsea against Tottenham has a habit of ignoring the script.
That is usually what makes it worth watching.
