Alcaraz of Spain has made it to the Wimbledon 2024 finals following a win over Daniil Medvedev in the finals. He converted the only break point that was awarded in the set. 12 winners for the 21-year-old were enough to seal the deal. Now, Medvedev was under pressure as he failed to break in the set.
Carlos took back-to-back sets following his win in the second one. He won the third and the fourth set 6-4. In the fourth set, The Spanish won two breaks while Medvedev broke once. Daniil Medvedev failed to reach the Wimbledon final once again. A semi-final defeat in the 2023 edition was followed by another one in the 2024 edition. He is now a three-time Grand Slam semi-finalist, five-time runner-up, and the winner of the 2021 US Open.
