The win stamped their superiority and led to many referring to City as “the best team in the world”. If they can beat Inter Milan in Istanbul on 11th June , I don’t think anyone in the world would dispute that. 

Victories in the FA Cup as well as the Champions League would definitely cement Manchester City’s treble as one of the greatest achievements by a football club. Unquestionably, the manner of their victories and the sheer dominance in the League, Cup and Champions League mean that if they were to win the treble, their achievement would surpass that of the 1999 United team.
