Leaving it late in the second set
Both players were ready for a fight in the second set. They served well and didn’t allow the opponent to take any break. Sinner led 5-4 after his serve. He decided to end the set in the next game. The Italian made his fourth break of the match in the last game of the second set. He won 6-4 and had a comfortable lead against the home favourite.

Taylor Fritz was looking down and out after the first two sets. However, he still had some fight left in him. He broke Sinner and had a 4-3 lead at one time. The Italian won the next four games to win the set 7-5.
