Sinner Dominates de Minaur
Alex de Minaur was struggling to keep up with the pace. He was getting outclassed on the court. Sinner took the second set and this time with more ease. The Italian broke twice in the set and took it 6-2. His first serve percentage dropped to 57 but the game improved massively with time. The home crowd was nervous as they knew their favorite player was in danger.

There was no match for Sinner’s world-class performance. He converted three out of the four break points earned and took the set 6-1. Sinner never allowed Alex to settle on the court. He booked his place in the last four with a smashing win.
Shelton for Second Grand Slam Semi
Ben Shelton continued his excellent run in the Australian Open 2025 by advancing to the semi-final. The 22-year-old from the United States defeated Lorenzo Sonego in four sets. This win means that Shelton will play his first Australian Open semi-final and second of his career.

It took Shelton four sets to book his place in the last four. Ben won the first two sets 6-4 and 7-5. He broke once in the first set and twice in the second set. Sonego failed to convert his three break points in the first set but converted one out of two in the second set. He then took the third set 6-4. The fourth set went into a tiebreaker. Shelton allowed his opponent to take only four points and comfortably registered a well-earned win.
